Dear Sister,

I see you.

I see you late at night checking your baby to see if he’s okay.

It’s the first time your baby gets sick.

You feel overwhelmed, confused and anxious.

Then suddenly you know exactly what to do.

Something incredible just happened: your mother’s intuition kicked in.

But it’s more than just intuition or instinct.

You are discovering a voice inside you — one that’s powerful and will guide you throughout motherhood.

These bittersweet moments will help shape your voice, define it, refine it and make you more holy.

A mother’s voice is sacred.

It’s God given.

The love of a mother is the closest love on earth to the Savior.

Your mother’s voice will grow stronger as you trust in Lord and pray for guidance and healing.

As you listen to your heart, that little voice inside of you will grow — and you will grow more confident in your capacity to nurture and protect your little one.

There will be other voices in the world that will try to make you doubt your abilities.

Don’t listen to them.

Trust that voice.

The most sacred job you will ever do will be in your home.

So keep listening to that small voice, because a mother’s voice can change the world.
